Freshwater ecology was my first experience in the study of water quality. I learned the factors which influence a good freshwater ecosystem. Air temperature, water temperature, dissolve oxygen, pH, and nitrates are all factors which determine the quality of a freshwater ecosystem. After studying the important of these factors of freshwater ecosystem, then we went to two sites Wolterman and Anderson. Where we collected water samples preformed the various test, and recorded them. This field study took place over a three months period from September 15th to November 17th.
