Title: Asian Food
making
Specific
purpose: To
demonstrate to my audience how to make Asian food.
Thesis: To show my
audience how easy and delicious it is to make Asian food at home by following
three simple steps: purchasing this material, cook the material, and serve.
Introduction
A.
Attention
Material: What
comes to mind when you see food? We associate food for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, supper, and also if there is celebration or ceremony such as birthday,
Idul Fitri, Christmas, or special occasions.
B.
Tie to the
Audience:
I’m sure that all of us like food, at some point, because hungry, used for
celebration, or just for eat. But, here I’ll try to introducing Asian food with
make this food, I hope we can make Asian food in USA, with easy material, and
delicious stuff.
C.
Credibility
Material:
After my arrival to USA, sometime I feel miss Asian food. But then Mr. Bob
cooked Asian food for me, and it was delicious. So i'll try to make it and serve
deliciously.
D.
Preview: I will explain
four basic things to making Asian food which includes how to go about finding
the right materials, how to cook the materials, and how to serve it.
Transition: Let’s start by
doing the most important thing, which is to find all of materials and tools
needed to make Asian food.
Body
A.
The
first step is to gather the equipment you will need.
a.
You
will need ¾ lb, chicken, beef, or pork cut into strips. It's the main material
to make it.
b.
1
tsp Sugar, 3 tbsp Soy Sauce, ¼ cup water, 2 tbsp Oil, 1 medium Onion, sliced 2
Carrots, sliced 1 Red or Green Bell Pepper, sliced ¼ lb. Fresh Mushrooms,
sliced (optional) 1 can (8oz.) Bamboo Shoots, drained, and Seasoning Mix (soy
sauce).
c.
You
need frying pan (pan) to cook and combine it.
d.
You
will also need some bowls to serve it.
e.
You
will need stir to make all chicken balance and cooked.
f.
You
also will need stove to cook.
Transition: If you have
all the materials that you need, you can start to combine it.
B.
Your
second step is to combine the material.
a.
Start
combine mix, sugar, soy sauce, and water; blend and set aside in a pan that
already on stove.
b.
In
large skillet or work heat oil, add meat and stir-fry until browned.
c.
Add
onion, carrots, and bell pepper; stir-fry.
d.
Add
mushrooms and bamboo shoots; stir-fry.
e.
Add
seasoning mixture; stir-fry 1 minute or until thickened.
Transition: Now that the
food is already cooked, you can put in a bowl or plate and make the creativity
on top of the food.
C.
This
is how you go about serving the food.
a.
Take
a bowl or plate.
b.
Take
the food from frying pan into the bowl or plate.
c.
Put
something to make nice on the top of food.
d.
Szechwan
Asian food already serve.
Transition
to Conclusion: Now
that you know how to make Asian food, that in this part I make Szechwan from
chicken, let's go over what I showed today.

Final Review: Today I showed you how to do
three basic things.

I
showed you how to find the right materials.

I
showed you how to cook Asian food.
c.
I
showed you how to serve it with nice on the top of food.

Tie Back to the Audience: Today we make
Asian food to introducing Asian food in
USA, actually in Southland high school, and it's really easy to make,
with materials that we could find here.

Conclusion Remarks: So, when you
trying to make Asian food, you can just following those steps, Asian food can
be option for your menu of dinner, and also you can try the other Asian food
and taste it, have good experience with Asian food.
