Introduction:
I.
“Life
is fun,” is something I always want to remember and something I struggle with
in my life. It’s also something that Mr. Bob Roberts said to me every day after
I arrived to his home. Life is so hard, and if I think it will be hard, then it
will be. But if I think it will be fun, it will be fun. Trust, that in the life,
there are a lot of things happening. I feel sad since I am so far without family
and friends. I have had to make adjustments in the new place. I don’t
understand anything in this new place. It
was so difficult and they have influenced to my life. But, it is kind of like a
part of life, just make sure I was still life, and it was fun.
Thesis:
I.
Bags
often symbolize a trip, a person’s personality, or a person’s experience. This bag has many more things than that.
Inside this bag there are three objects which represent the past, present, and
future; a photo, a letter, and money.
Body:
A.
The
first object in this bag is a photo of my family.
B.
When
I was in first grade to my junior year of high school, my
mother died, I felt sad, I felt so lost, felt sorry to my brother, felt this is
all unfair, but, I still had a father who understands and loves his children.
This photo always reminds me that there is my father who was always together,
giving spirit, that life would be easy if you think it's easy. This photo also always reminds me that the
memories will always be there, but do not go on in sadness, because life is
fun. This photo strengthens me to always be happy and think ahead, this photo
symbolizes the memories and lessons in life.
II.
Always
trying to keep fun, do your best in the present.
A.
The
second object in this bag is a letter.
B.
Before
the arrival of exchange student to United State of America, I was very worried, if I did
not get a host family, I have been carrying out selection for
2 years, starting
from first grade to second grade. I
have passed the national selection
and just waiting for a letter from the host family. I received this letter and I red
it with great joy and curiously, with whom I will live? Is host
family good or bad? I never
thought would stay with Mr. Bob
Robert, a very kind man and understanding with me. I
keep this letter to always remember my struggle to
become exchange student. Sometimes this is very hard
to live, stay very far away from
parents, family, and friends.
This letter is always reminding me to always strong, seeking new experiences, make friends, learn English, although it is very difficult but the letter is a letter from Bob and he always said that life is fun, and I could feel to always be fun here, everything will be in accordance with the way from god. The letter symbolizes my present because it always with me and remind me to struggle and always fun.

Our
future depends on what we do now.

The
third object is money.
B.
As of right now, I have
plans to go to college, learn a lot of things, and one day to have a job that
could be for life. With this money symbolizes that I want to have money,
because of how important money is for life, for college, to eat, to travel, to
personal interests, even when I set married and had a wife, surely it takes a
lot of money to feed the family. All need money, then with this money I want to
be able to carry out all my desires. Including being able to study abroad.
Money is not everything but everything needs money.
Conclusion:
I.
Summary
A. Although my
mother passed away, but I was able to have her memories, and this photo help me
to always feel good, because there is my father who always with me.
B. Even though I
was so hard to life so far away from family, friends. This letter always remind
me to remember how difficult to get this program being an exchange student, how
many people who can’t to go, this letter
make me think about struggle and fun.
C. I would like to
learn more, I want to life, so with money I can do that, I want to realize my
future.

Statement
A.
“Life
is fun,” this is a quote
that I will take it to struggle in my life,
because the problem will always exist and life is a struggle, so it should be made fun in life.
